About ICMG UK
Sue Oliver ICMG and her husband Mark manage ICMG UK.
ICMG was established in the UK in 2014 by Angela and Ian Caley who set it up to aim for high standards in the grooming industry. Sue has worked in the background with ICMG for many years, helping Angela and Ian develop the qualifications.
ICMG UK is part of IPG which is based in the USA, run by Linda Easton. Linda governs ICMG and we run the UK and European license.
ICMG is about meeting grooming standards and imperatively animal welfare. The exams are created to ensure the requirements of a passionate and capable groomer.
The exams are structured and can be taken from your own grooming salon via Zoom link or within a grooming school. We have approved schools covering the UK. We offer set exams days or these can be booked individually to suit.
Sue Oliver
Sue has enjoyed over 30 years' experience in dog grooming including running dog grooming courses in both Derby College and her own grooming school in Stanley Common Derbyshire.
Sue is an International Certified Master Groomer (ICMG) and has Qualified Teaching and Learning Status (QTLS). Sue holds the City and Guilds 7750 Level 3 Advanced Dog Grooming Qualification along with many more.
Sue works closely with the dog grooming industry to promote the highest standards. She is available to answer any questions you may have about ICMG UK and dog grooming.
Mark Witham
Mark is Sue’s right-hand man and supports the running of ICMG in many ways. Mark is keen to talk to people and help them with any matters on ICMG.
Mark sets up grooming examinations and helps with correspondence to anyone enquiring into ICMG. You will often see Mark at grooming events offering advice and guidance on the ICMG trade stand.
Shelley Hopkin
Shelley is an ICMG Examiner and is proud to be part of the ICMG family being a qualified ICMG, City & Guilds Advanced Groomer, educator, certifier and assessor within the animal care industry.
Shelley is passionate and enthusiastic with a strong desire to maintain the highest of standards, quality and education with a particular love and devotion to the world of dog grooming and the unique qualities and opportunities offered through ICMG and our wonderful ICMG family.
